One Week Disruption Could Bring World To Knees?

Hello fans of When The SHTF - the blog and world did not end in 11 - despite an overwhelming amount of pure BS about `second suns' - `tilted axises' and `rouge comets' and all the other hoopla you had to endure in the leadup to 2012. But, the year has finally arrived.

And, one of the first things to greet us all is this think tank study that suggests that Militants or just natural disasters - that were able to disrupt the world supply chain for just ONE WEEK - would be able to cause significant worldwide `disruptions'. A tease:

The global economy could withstand widespread disruption from a natural disaster or attack by militants for only a week as governments and businesses are not sufficiently prepared to deal with unexpected events, a report by a respected think-tank said.
